{Week 15} The Boys

Kingston, Week 15: Working with daddy on pitching.
Cole, Week 15: Trying his hand at a little t-ball.

This weekend was beautiful.  I am so thankful we got to spend a little time outside enjoying it.

We {Heart} Spring.

What a beautiful way to welcome Spring!  No rain, slightly warmer temps, and a little sun is definitely a good thing in my book.  The outdoors have been calling our names lately, so we spent last night and today enjoying it.  Doesn't help with projects and crafts I wanted to get done around the house, but sometimes you just have to be flexible.  Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

NW Trek on a Rainy Day.

The littles and I had an adventure at NW Trek last Saturday with our good friends the Johnson's.  It was all three of our first times to this wildlife park and we had a pretty great time.  Surprisingly, while everywhere else was getting a downpour, the park only had a light sprinkle and was pretty enjoyable -- there were even a few dry times too.  I think we had the most fun on the tram, checking out the otters, and seeing the moose.  I just wish I would've been able to take a few more photos.

{Week 10} The Boys

Kingston, Week 10: Playing zombie hunter in the backyard... with a gun and a twig.
Cole, Week 10: Throwing rocks in the backyard.  He doesn't mess around with the small ones.

Night Snow.

Just a few photos from last weekend, when we had a little snow on Saturday night.  Kingston had a blast staying up late to work with daddy on making a "snowman family."  It was the perfect amount of snow... a few inches to enjoy over the weekend, yet it didn't affect work schedules or our daily life.  And I gotta say - while I've been wishing for a little warmer weather and some sunshine, it was fun to see the big white flakes coming down fast and in a hurry.

#TBT: A Very Happy Thanksgiving.

Don't the holidays just scream posed photographs?  This is the best we could do back in November.  And I'm pretty sure the hubs got after me for this one.  Posed photographs are a no in his book.
Another posed gem.  I have to say, though -- love Noni's smile in this one (the hubs's grandma).  We definitely captured some happy people.  The holiday was celebrated with the hubs's parents, grandma, and a few other family members.  Nice and relaxed, how every holiday should be in my book.
And this is what the boys really wanted to do outside... shake the bamboo in the secret garden.

I can't remember everything we were thankful for on that day, but I know for sure I was thankful for my little family.  I'm thankful for all three of my men each and every day.  What a lucky lady I am.

{Week 4} The Boys

Kingston, Week 4: Getting ready to run half a mile in lane 4, because he is 4 years old (his reasoning).
Cole, Week 4: Playing "baseball" on the high school football field.  This boy loves to play ball.

#TBT: Fall Fun with Leaves

My "Throwback Thursday" post this week goes back to the end of October... on a beautiful sunny Fall day.  We went to our usual spot where we are always sure to find beautiful leaves (and lots of them) for a mini-photo shoot.  The boys didn't seem to mind this one... possibly because they got to have a fun leaf-throwing fight the entire time I took photos.

The first one is probably my very favorite. But I also like the one of Kingston standing by the tree looking up as if he is almost the little boy in "The Giving Tree."  These photos remind me how much I love Fall.  Is it too early to be ready for Fall again?!
