A wee bit o' gold.

This is the look I sported yesterday for St. Patrick's Day, or "Patrick's Day," as Kingston called it.  I liked the heart I did for Valentine's day so much, that I thought my good ol' party nail needed to make another appearance (see my DIY Nail Art Heart post HERE).  So with a wee bit o' gold glitter and my bright green polka dotted sweater, I was ready to bring on the day. 

Pretty Polish at Home, Valentine's Day Style.

Everybody loves a good "party nail" these days, right?  I decided my nails needed a little Valentine's Day cheer this past Saturday and painted a pretty little heart on my left ring finger using Sinful Color's "Island Coral" nail polish and the help of a toothpick.  I simply dabbed on a little polish with the toothpick and spread it around the nail until it formed a heart shape.  First time trying this out and I'm pretty happy with the results.  I then applied two coats of a clear nail hardening polish and as of today, that little heart is still holding strong.  No need for those fancy polish pens or beauty salons, friends.
